October Nanny Training Recap

Last Sunday, we held the second part of our Emergent Literacy Nanny Training Series. This month, we discussed early literacy skills such as Phonics, Fluency, Vocabulary, and Comprehension for the PreK and Kindergarten levels.  


The nannies who attended our class developed the ability to identify the different stages that a child will typically go through during their literacy development. They were able to walk away with ideas and printable materials that address each stage and each literacy component.

This is a great class for any nanny who wants to support the literacy development of a child who might be just learning their letter names and sounds, all the way to the child who is just starting to sound out simple words such as cat, lip, and log.
